Transfer Project From Unit

Hi,

Is there anyway to disable the function of "transfer project from unit" for 5080CTC?

I got problem transferring project from unit on 1-unit. The transfer cannot be executed without any error occurs/prompts.

Hi,

I tried to retrieve the file from CTC to PC (C:\Clipsal\PICED_Field_Trial\Projects\hall latest.ctd)

On PC - The transfer icon appear a while and dissapear.

On CTC -
Error 14017 - Information is Missing or Incorrect.
File C:\HomeGate\Projects\Current\..... .ctf does not exist

This can happen if you create an archive file then try to transfer that. See help file topic "Warning 14633" for details.

It could also be due to the project not unzipping completely. Have you tried transferring it several times?

What version of HomeGate is in the Colour C-Touch?

 

Hi,

I've try transferring many times but the result is the same. The only fille that appear in my saved location is hall latest.cta (as attached).

S/W Vs:
HomeGate 4.4.1.
PICED 4.4.1.41.

I didn't create any archieve file. I just follow the normal file transferring procedures from CTC to PC from manual.

Hi eychng,

I had a quick look at your cta file and have noticed that the 'ctf' isn't in there. The project looks fine so make sure you follow the steps below when transferring your project.
1. Open your project in PICED.
2. Go to the 'Transfer' menu and select 'Transfer project to unit...'.
3. Follow the menus to transfer your project, make sure the 'Action' is set to 'Transfer current project'.

This will create the cta file but it will include information required by the CTC, for example the ctf file.
