Toolkit 1.12.0 doesn't open project

    I push "Upgrade" and fails message shows.
    I'm trying to restore any previous versions of a project - negative result.
    Previous version - 1.11.10
    Any suggestions how to get it work?

    Hi greefon,

    I'm afraid there is a bug in Toolkit 1.12.0 that fails to handle Cyrillic and other characters properly and in fact will corrupt the file during the upgrade.

    Please ensure you remove any project files touched with Toolkit 1.12.0 and roll back to your original file from Toolkit 1.11.x (in the zip you sent me it is the .xml.old file). Rename it back to an .xml file.


    [*** EDIT: Rest of workaround removed. Please use Toolkit 1.12.1 at this point to upgrade your projects from Toolkit 1.11.x. ***]


    We will issue a fix for this problem as soon as possible. (#23651).

    Toolkit 1.12.1 has been released to fix this problem.

    You may upgrade your Toolkit 1.11.x projects safely with Toolkit 1.12.1.
