Is it possible to incorporate timers in scenes. I am using ver. 1.2 and only seem to be able to set groups on, off, or to a level. Have I missed something or is it not possible.
    Thanks,

    It is not possible.

Scenes only set groups to levels.

To do timers you want a macro.

Macros are planned and one day in the dim and distant future you might see them materialise. Don't hold your breath though.

    Version 1.2? Of what?

If you want to do timers for a Scene natively from a C-Bus key input unit then the only devices we have capable of that are the DLT switches. You can press a button to trigger the scene and then press a second button to start a timer that will turn that Scene Off.

To do this you assign your Scene button as normal but you assign a second key as a Scene Modify key. You can then set that key to be a Scene Timer by clicking on the button next to the key function. You assign the time interval for the Scene to the block associated with that button/scene and away it goes! A Scene Modify key applies to the last Scene that was activated in that unit so you must press the Scene Key first.

This feature will be availble in V2 of the C-Touch firmware (currently in field trial). You can get a trial version by installing the PICED software http://www.cbusforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1062
