Third party support in Schedule Plus

In our 3 latest projects we had to use Citect and other SCADA software instead of Schedule Plus. That's because we needed to connect third party devices using OPC standard.

Schedule Plus is great software. Maybe there is some kind of a plan to implement OPC standard support for third party devices in Schedule Plus? Now C-Bus has an OPC server software, so I believe there is someone, who know how this works

There is an OPC server for C-Bus which allows you to use many SCADA packages to control C-Bus. There are no plans to integrate the OPC server with Schedule Plus.

 

Don't you think that Homegate/Schedule Plus deserve more, than just to control small C-Bus only installations? Even if another Schneider Electric (TAC etc.) equipment is used with C-Bus - you should implement another control package.

Citect SCADA was once a small installer-created program, now it's amoung 5 most used SCADA packages in the world =)
