The very first step

Hello ive just inherited a Cbus system and am trying to get my head around it I have been left with nothing at all regarding software or instructions and all i have so far is my system and my wiser home control and a pink cable. Can someone please steer me in the right direction for the very first steps of connecting my control to my cbus and how i go about setting things up please
