I have been complaining to my local CIS agent for years about the non-availablility of 30 series Tactile switches to use on C-BUS, but still nothing available yet.

The 2-channel bus coupler has outputs for LED's, so CIS must have been thinking along these lines when it was invented?

Is there any chance of a 30 series style C-BUS tactile switch with LED input in the future as at the moment there is no support for Architrave switches. I know that they are not used much, but sometimes it would be very usefull.

Would anyone else out there like to see this product?

I'd certainly be interested in such a product. I currently use another brand bell press in an architrave fitting. I've had a cursory look at trying to adapt existing tactile switches but haven't found a suitable solution yet. My house is 90% architrave mounted switches and a tactile 30 series push button would be perfect. Not too concerned about having LED indication.

    Regards, CC&C.

I have wanted something like this for quite a while now. I have two 30 series bell press mechs and would dearly love for them to have the same 'feel' as a normal C-Bus key input. A LED based one would be even better!
You can't always replace an architrave switch with a C-Bus key input, and while a normal 30 series mech can be used for on/off, it's not ideal...
