    Ulti is not EZ Install.

Ulti is a brand sold in Asia.

The equivalent style in Cbus is called Saturn or sometimes Ulti/Saturn just to make things confusing.

If you want to use other switches, use a bus coupler (5000BC series), these are available in 2 and 4 input versions. You can use any switches you like with these. The 4 input bus coupler is now available with scenes and all the functions of the Neo switch series. If you order a bus coupler you may or may not get the version with scenes, this depends on the age of the stock carried by your supplier. Some old stock (without scenes) is still out there. The new ones clearly say in the product "with scenes".

You learn something new everyday... is there any chance the 2ch will have this functionality in the near future?

Yes, the 2 Channel Bus Coupler will also gain all the Scene functionality, just like the 4 channel.

The 2-Channel model is running a few months behind the 4-channel, so it's not available in the warehouses just yet. All I can say is 'coming soon'.

    Ashleigh,

Can you quote a manufacturing date (or version number etc, if it's on the outside of the packaging and easy to check) that I can use when ordering Bus Couplers to ensure I receive the latest type with the Scenes and support for bi-stable switches ?

    Thanks

Suggest you get a 4 input bus coupler, manufactured after August 2008.

(They went into product earlier than that, but I can't remember exactly when... many months... so that date *should* be about right.) But there are no guarantees !!! My memory on when it went into production is fallible!
