    Hi,

I know I'm being pedantic about this but if I could get some advice on application usage.

I am running some logic in a PAC that controls motorised blinds connected to CBUS.

I have a page on my old B&W Ctouch to control them and I also want to display the status (i.e. the current blind position, updated as the blind moves from it's old position to each new requested position). I have the PAC coded to send out the percentage open of each blind as it moves them and I would like to display that on my CTouch.

The control application assignment is easy, Trigger Control for buttons on the CTouch and for light switches. But what should I use to broadcast the status? At the moment I am using seperate lighting groups, one for each blind. Does that go with the philosophy of CBus?

    Thanks,
    Brad.

    Brad,

Using lighting groups is the only practical methed be currently provide for doing what you want currently. And to be honest if it's just a few groups it is also the least complicated way.... and less complication is a good thing.
