    Hi,

Attached is a screen shot of my network window. It shows a strange impedance!

The network has 5 network bridges, a 8 channel relay(L5508RVF), and a mono touchscreen(MkII with logic). I have a hardware burden on the network.

    I have a logging PC attached via a PC I/F, and a temporay 5500PS.

The logging PC shows me that all 6 networks are going offline intermittently, and take a long long time to resync.

The Calculator with the same units installed shows an impedance of 0.82KOhm.

Could this be the cause of my networks dripping out?

    Any thoughts?

That is the impedance you would expect to see if there was no hardware burden installed on your network. Since you are using a hardware burden, and not a software burden, there is no way for toolkit to know this when scanning the network.

To get the correct calculation in Toolkit you also need to add a BURDEN to your Toolkit database so that it can take into account the fact you are using a hardware burden.

What program are you using to do this? C-Gate? Schedule+?

PS: Suggest you update to Toolkit 1.11.2

Logging PC is running PICED 4.7.1, the same version as was used to program the touchscreen.

The figure shown includes a software burden configured on the L5508RVF. It does not change when i remove the software burden.

    ? Weird!

Here is the log from this morning which shows the errors occurring.....

As you can see, all networks have gone into error state, interestingly the backbone last of all.

I intend to run C-gate level 9 event logs over the weekend, to see if that provides any clue!
