    Here goes nothing!

Guys, I have been working on a spreadsheet to work out my CBus network and it occurs to me that I am probably trying to invent a wheel that has been invented many times over.

Now if everyone was to put their ideas together, I have no doubt we could come up with something that could become ubiquitous in this game and heaven forbid make the role of an integrator far more efficient.

It could even have its own version of the load calculator incorporated into it. Maybe a label printer for units and cables.

I am certainly no software expert but I don't see it being too challenging for someone who is skilled in excel to merge all of our ideas. Whilst every job has its own personality, at the end of the day, it is all about input units output units and loads!

If anyone thinks it is worth looking at, I am happy to put my half ar$ed effort up to get the flames burning!

    Here it is

For the PM's who wanted to see it, and those who want to dis it, here it is.

It is an amateur effort from a non electrician who is also a non excel programmer and I know it can be improved no end but you know what, it is a start.

Any ideas suggestions improvements, lets put it out there. So what if all we achieve is make the product easier to design and install.

Probably has a lot to do with bad timing on your part. Traffic to this site is very low this week and last. I wouldn't expect it to pickup again until after the new year.

surely there would be some collective ideas that can be brought together and we can all benefit?

I chose not to answer as you were not going to like the answer i give no matter what i say.

"Seems the flaming Sparkies are hunting in packs again." looks familiar.
