I have a wiser that works, and a CNI that's failed. Does anyone have the opposite just kicking around that they are happy to lose for a few quid? For free?? :D

Black piggyback preferred purely for cosmetic reasons.

What are the symptoms of the failed CNI? Any idea what happened to it?

Just stopped working completely. Won't respond to pings, even when directly connected to ethernet and power (not through jumper bar). Doesn't show up in IP Configurator, even after doing everything sensible with the reset button. Not certain about the CBus side, but the ethernet side has definitely failed. I think the CBus light flashes occasionally, so I suspect it's working. Not in front of it right now.

No, I'll do that, but it is powering the Wiser OK, via the coupler bar, and I've been running the CNI directly from the same PSU. Isn't the voltage range for the CNI something like 5-24v, but the Wiser needs 12v? Plus, are there smarts in the coupler bar or is it all passive?

I'll have to double check all that but hey, yeah, I'll give it a go. Weirder things have happened.
