Despite working fine for more than a year, I am now unable to save any trend logs. The input box edits fine but when saved, everything disappears. Also, the trend logs that I did have all disappeared. Any ideas welcome - with thanks

if you make some changes etc and save it, then reboot the shac, once you reboot are the changes you made still there? if not sounds like it could be SD card failure

thanks - the SD card is certainly something I will have a look at. As mentioned above, the dialogue box for saving a new trend log works fine. However, when saving it, it disappears and nothing appears in the trendlogs table. All the earlier trends I had saved earlier have also disappeared.

It’s inside under the case, You have to open the unit up to access it... and void the Warrantee in the process.
if you think you have a faulty unit
I would contact SE/ Clipsal tech support and
If it is faulty get a new one under warranty.

I just got this error message relating to not being able to see trends anymore.
"Error: /lib/genohm-scada/web/vistpl/trends.lua:0: attempt to concatenate a nil value"
    does anyone have any insight?

Have u checked the available storage space?

I vaguely remember an issue with wording like that when the storage location was full.

Does the user account of the logging have permission to save to the folder?

we might be onto something. When I go to allocate permissions for trends for a new user where I have selected "partial" access, the old trends are listed and I am able to tick and select them. However, I still get the error message when logging in as that new user. Does the admin account have access to everything?

I haven't played with a lot of this recently, but I would assume so.

After trying a heap of different things, this turned out to be caused by a corrupted project file. I am now in the process of rebuilding the whole thing and using what I could recover in sections from the original project. Moral of the story is "press the sync project data" button frequently!
