Anyone know of a way that you can open and view a SHAC configuration and visualisation when you have the backup file but not an actual unit to open it on ?

Open it in a text editor. Don't save it. But you can poke through and find a lot of stuff in a plain text editor.

you can also browse the db file in the backup (think it’s called current.db) need to unzip the back up file and then open db file with sql browser program.

If your going to have a go I’d probably save a copy of the backup file in case it gets corrupted.

Yes Pie Boy, thats right, I'd forgotten that detail. There is an SQlite database in there and you can pick it apart using an SQL browser.

I think that these days you can use Heidi to get into SQLite databases.

    Google Heidi SQL. It's free.
