Serial pin allocation

    Hi all

    I am trying to work out how best to wire a patch panel for some serial interfaces such as 5500PC and DALI SCI.
    They will be connected to a 1 port serial device server.

    I can see the pin allocations in the manuals for 5500PC RJ45 serial port but I was wondering if it is based on some standard eg EIA/TIA - 561
