    Hi Guys,

We have schedule plus (Unlimited License) running on one of our sites. I have recently upgraded to v2.6 but have had some ongoing comms problems since day one.

I narrowed it down to some old Network bridges and that has solved my problems but now I am getting the following error in C-Gate (See attached file).

    Any idea's???

Also I noticed that when I restart the software that the program does not remember what network is local network. This is a problem if we ever have the PC restart (unlikely due to being on UPS). I used to have the system set so that the program automatically re-starts and the project loads and connects to C-Bus on restart on the old versions, is this possible on the new version due to it asking what you would like to do (i.e. new project, existing etc...)

Is this error causing any problems ?
What do you mean by "local network" ? Are you referring to the Default Network in the Project Properties Wizard ?

The new version recovers from power failures in the same way as the old one.

    Darren,
No the error does not appear to be causing any problems, but I guess any error should be investigated.

Yes the default network in the project wizard does not remember the last setting.

The old version did not have the project wizard come up on start up though, is this going to be a problem??

    Thanks,

I will see if I can find out what it means.
You are quite right. I will get that fixed. It shouldn't be much of a problem as the default network is mainly used when creating projects, not when operational.
If you use command-line parameters (see the help file) to load a project, you will not see the project wizard come up.

The C-Gate error message you are seeing ("sys config parameter clock.update-interval not found") may be caused by a spelling error in an old version of the C-Gate configuration file. If you open C:\CLIPSAL\C-Gate2\Config\C-GateConfig.txt, you will see an entry like :

    clock.updtate-interval=30

If you change "updtate" to "update", this problem might be fixed.

Let us know if this fixes it :)

    Darren,
    Thanks for your replies.

Thats cool with the default network, I wont worry about that.

I will check out the C-Gate spelling and get back to you.

    Cheers,

    Chris.

    #### clock.updtate-interval:
    # Interval in minutes between clock and timekeeping messages
    # Default Value: 30
    # Scope: network
    # Effective on: closeopen
    ###
    clock.update-interval=30

20050624-000001 799 sys config parameter clock.update-interval not found
20050624-000000 799 sys config parameter clock.update-interval not found

Doesnt seem to make a difference :(
