Schedule Edit - Once only, System IO

Using system IOs to modify a schedule works very well. However, I can't see a way to set the date for a schedule that operates once only.

The client wants to set a schedule that happens every now and then. So the ability to turn it ON at a certain date and the ability to turn OFF on a different date is required. Is this possible? If not, can this be added?

Support showed me the Component tool, Category 'Schedules' and Function 'Edit'. If you then double click this button to change its properties, you can then specify a specific schedule with in the Special Function tab (so the client won't alter schedules they shouldn't, nor will they even see them).

This meets the requirement, however, system IOs would make the user experience more consistent and easier as button sizes can be made large.
