I have a 5753PEIRL in the lounge room i have it on PIR night move. I also have three scenes added to virtual keys that are controled with the remote. The problem i have is diableing the motion sensor when the scene is activated. I have added the ocupancy disable to the scene and when you click the Live button in the scene editor it works properly but when i use the remote it will not disable the motion sensor so as soon as you move the other lights come back on and it continues to count down.

    Thanks in advance.

You cannot enable/disable the sensor by putting the Enable/Disable group in the Scene.

A similar issue is discussed in this thread: http://www.cbusforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=5450

The reason it works from the "Live" button in Toolkit is that the Multisensor is receiving all the Scene Groups, including the one that disables the sensor, from over the bus. When you press the button on the remote the commands are sent from the unit to the bus instead.

There are a couple things you can do to get your desired behaviour. One is to just put a dummy group in the Scene and then have another unit map that back to the Enable/Disable group. Another way is to have Enable/Disable assigned to a button on the remote and disable it manually.

Incidentally, when the Scene disables the PIR, how are you re-enabling it again?

I do have a button on the remote that disables/ enables the sensor and that is how i re-enabling the PIR.

I have a button on the bedroom remote that enables/disables the PIR could I use that to send the signal to the sensor how would i add that to the scene.

Thanks for pointing out the other forum thread I will go reed that.

    Thanks again

If the button on the bedroom remote is being directly received by the PIR in the lounge room, then you'll have the same issue, since the PIR isn't receiving the enable/disable message over C-Bus.

If you have a Touchscreen that is equipped with logic or a 5500PAC in your install somewhere, then the easiest thing will be to have a dummy group in the scene that then gets mapped to the enable/disable group. This will give you your 'one-touch' Scene set and PIR Disable function from your IR Remote control.
