I just noticed the Saturn ZEN keypads and was wondering if I can replace my old S2000's directly with these ones. Are they drop-in replacements or do I need a special box for these to mount in?

Direct screw in. Has same mounting hole spaces as standard Aussie switches, 84mm.

If you go EDLT, same, except it comes with a magnetic bracket that screws into the wall plate then the switch attaches to the bracket.

You would need to talk to your supplier.

I am still in the market for these Zen switches and saw the brochure mention pictogram icons. Are these available for the Cbus switches (R5043NL-ZW) or just the normal input units?

The pictogram icons can only be used for 240V Zen switches, not for C-Bus Zen switches.

Use cbus 30 mech switchs in 240v saturn gridplates.... Voila zen picto grams on cbus switches... And cheaper to boot!

I tried that and the result was crap. Unlike say using a 30 series in a 240V 'glass' saturn switch, with a zen the LED was impossible to see. Maybe if using pictograms not so much of an issue. And of course even on native c-bus Zen the led is near on impossible to see...

Must admit overall not impressed with the zen. I like the look but think they are awaful.

The EDLT's (of which I purchased 4), unlike the Saturn EDLT's don't have screws to secure them to the bracket, so magnet only. Means they can and do move, nothing I hate more than out of skew switches. The c-bus zen, looks good but as mentioned hard to see the LED, and not avaliable in a 6 way. And 30 series in a 240v plate, awful too.

In my new house, which BTW fitting off as we speak, I changed most of the zen to saturn glass, but stuck with my 4 Zen EDLT's.

I also like the clean look of the Zens but didn't know about the other issues you encountered. I am just replacing two old S2000 style keypads so will see how it goes.
