    Hi all,

    Quick question;

    Large conference room with a central divider, each side contains 6 identical lighting circuits and a 4 gang E-series key input, the divider contains a micro switch which feeds into 1 channel of a 4 channel bus coupler to sense closure, another channel is used by a manual keyswitch to 'lock out' the two E-Series when either of the rooms are occupied and the sysetm also contains a PACA.

    The functionality i need to achieve is:

    1, Four identical scenes per switch, when the room is divided each switch controls its own half, when open, either switch must control the entire space.
    2, The key switch must 'lock out' both the E-series when activated.

    I thought about implementing this using dumming lighting groups on the key inputs to call a number of scenes via some logic in the PAC, this would also allow me to track the LEDs correctly, and easily lock out the E-Series but is the method too clumsy? Is using Trigger groups a neater solution?

    Regards,

    Paul

    I would think that you needed groups with a conditional statement. A similar clause to your situation is that two groups belong to an exterior light level sensor and operate according to the rules of night and day.

    You want to enforce the AND condition in a conditional way from a coupler input IF THEN status.

    I dont have any sample code but it sounds to me like you are heading into touchscreen territory.

    Have a look at the example projects in C:\Clipsal\PICED\Projects\Examples\Logic\Room Divider to see if any of those give you some ideas.
