    Hi all,

Given my electrician has 'forgot' to hardwire some LED lighting into C-Bus, of which the power (also not hardwired) & switch are hidden behind a custom built cabinet I need to be able to control it via a non-cabled solution.

Is this possible to achieve via C-Bus or do I need to get an X10 RF relay & controller & trigger it via HomeGate?

    Thanks
    Greg...

I'm not sure of the solution, but one thing I am sure about is, run a million miles from X10.

I started out with X10 for my home automation and had no end of trouble.

After all if X10 worked reliabily, we wouldn't need C-Bus.

    Regards

I'm not sure if this is suited to your application but there is an RF relay about to be released. It is a plugpack that is part of the CBUS wireless suit. It simply plugs in to a powerpoint and provides a CBUS switched powerpoint as an outlet, much the same as X10.
