I want to be able to connect a device to cbus that will report variations in continuity so I can code my PAC to trigger various groups depending on these variations. Will the L5504AUX allow me to read these variations?

If not what if any device can facilitate this.

    Thanks!

This depends a lot on what you mean by continuity. Voltage free? Just open/short or variable resistance?

Voltage free. I want to be able to report the variations in resistance, could be as a percentage or ideally in ohms.

The 5504AUX accepts only voltage free switch inputs. You would need a General Input Unit (5504GI) to measure resistance.
