Hi - my existing cbus (2007) install now has a new spacelogic dimmer joining the older relays and dimmers....so now I can't use Toolkit to program all of it....

Does spacelogic versions offer anything tangible over the older stuff bearing in mind the old stuff does basically what I want?

Trying to weigh staying old school vs. new and what I get for the $.

Also can I use the spacelogic compatible 'toolkit' to control both old and new modules?

    thanks!

There is no need to upgrade your old cbus equipment. Replace as it breaks

You need 2 versions of toolkit, 1 for old equipment and one for the new add-ons

I am assuming with an install date of 2007 - your existing equipment is all CBUS2 equipment.

The current version of Toolkit will manage this ok.

Newer devices, the Schneider Spacelogics white devices, all require C-Bus Commission to program. This is downloadable from the Schneider web site in the same areas as Toolkit.

Schneider are working to move all current device programming from Toolkit to Commission.

Toolkit 1.17.6 lets you use old and new kit in the same version. It's all I use.
