I've just moved in to a house with an established CBus2 setup for lighting and garden reticulation. There is also a Wiser2 controller.

Can I rename a few device names just using the CBus ToolKit?

    What is required?

Depends on what names you are referring to. If you mean the names on the Wiser visualizations app then you use PICED. if want want to rename or reprogram Cbus units you use Toolkit.

The Wiser2 contains a Cbus interface (CNI) so both Tookit and PICED can communicate via it. You just need it IP address.

To use Toolkit you will need a config file for your network. If the previous owners did not supply this you can create it from the network but it's a bit of work. The process is described in the forums somewhere...

PICED can retrieve the Wiser project from it, but you will need a the network config file to do anything useful.
