One of the channels on one of my 12ch relays is connected to the close-contact activator on my garage door controller. The garage door keypad has a key configured as a bell-press. No probs. Today was the second time in about three weeks that I've switched off the lighting circuit, and after turning it back on, the garage door doesn't open. It's working now, but I'm curious as to why it happens, and if I can stop it. Here are my problem solving steps. 1. Press key. LED lights then turns off. No door. 2. Open door with its remote. Works. 3. Short contacts on the door controller. Works. 4. Load Toolkit, manually toggle group on/off. No door. 5. Open keypad and relay config and save to network. No door. 6. Short contacts at relay. Works. 7. Try using keypad. Doesn't work. 8. Activate channel by pressing the button on the relay. Works. 9. Try using keypad. Works. So in short, it looks like after a power-up of the cbus network, my garage door relay channel doesn't like working properly until I turn it on using the override switch on the relay. Then its happy. Any hints? Thanks, Mark.
