Programming button on 1ch & 2ch Relays

    When mains power is not present you have to press and hold the button to enable you to program the unit.

    Sorry - should have been more specific with my question. Why is it needed, when other C-Bus units don't need it? Just curious.

    It's there because the product is quite old in design and hasn't been updated for a long time. The automatic mechanism for the shared power feeds (mains and C-Bus) to the unit hadn't been developed when the 5101R and 5102RVF were designed.
