Profile names can be anything except a blank name or a name that has been used for another profile.

Can you tell me how you got error 14103 using xxxxx as a name? I can't do this.

I can see from your first post that the form is the wrong height, hiding the name edit box. Can you tell me which operating system you are using, and whether you are using "large fonts" or some other non-standard setting?

I still can not make this fail. Once we get things so you can see what you are doing, we might be able to sort this out.

You create them on the Profile Group tab. Read the help file topics "Profiles" and "Profile Manager" and see if that clarifies things.

    No

You need two or more profiles before you can create a profile group. I will add that to the help file.

Darren - Dave likes using scaled up fonts (125%).

This is something that Delphi and many other RAD systems (eg .net) don't support especially well - and doubly so if the original form design did not take into account that all the text might get bigger.

    There are 2 solutions:

    1. A big big re-engineering of the forms to make them scale up properly (hard, and iffy).

    2. Ask Dave really nicely to change to 100% (normal) fonts on his PC. Perhaps also ask him to get a new set of reading glasses :D

    Hi Ashleigh
Got a dog on order, be a drinking mate as well. haha.

One of the reasons I need that size as with the Win8 multi-touch the size of the button needs to be about little finger size and the small text hard to read, till I get the dog.

I had the same trouble with some of the drop down boxs in Toolkit, a bit of bad programming you left, but the new smart kids fixed it.
Maybe Darren can steal some of there code, of all the places I on the web it only happens with Piced.
