It looks like there is a problem with transferring some projects to Colour C-Touch with the latest version of PICED (3.4.1) and ToolKit (1.3).

When you go to transfer these projects to Colour C-Touch, you get an error message :

Error 14624 Export of C-Bus project to C-Bus V2 format failed.

In some cases, you just need to open the project with the ToolKit and then close ToolKit again to fix the problem. You don't need to open networks or make any changes, just navigate to look at the group address tags (for example). We don't know the exact cause yet, but at least the fix is very easy :)

Have similar problem but with a subtely different message

    "C-BUS V2.0

    An Internal Error has occured
Please close the application and try again

If the probem persists, please contact your
    nearest technical support person"

The project seems to transfer to the CTC ok
The CTC controls all the GA's, scenes etc reliably.

Opening and closing the project in toolkit 1.3 does not have any effect

The project (someone elses work which I inherited) was created in an older vs of Toolkit (1.1.9, I think), but now upgraded with 1.3. I have created the the small CTC app with PICED vs 3.4.1

This is a slightly different problem. This is caused by a problem with the C-Bus project being exported to the C-Vus V2 tag database format for use with colour C-Touch. There are a few issues that can cause this :
    1. Use of tags not supported by C-Bus V2 (for example, the use of illegal characters such as | )
    2. Use of networks which are invalid (ie can not be communicated with from the network which the C-Touch is installed on)
    3. Use of duplicate level tags within an Application (this is allowed in ToolKit, but not in C-Bus V2)

By rectifying these problems, this error message will go away. In your case, this is not probably affecting you because you are not using the problematic tags etc in logic.

    Hi Darren

Yes there was a duplicate level tag
Also characters including *, \ and . were used. Are any of these "illegal" characters - took them out anyway and error message is gone

    Thank you
