We have found a problem with the recently released V2.21 firmware for C-Touch which is part of PICED V3.7.

If you transfer a very large project to some units, the unit will continually reset itself. Once a unit is in this state, it will probably need to be returned to factory. Unfortunately, there is no way of knowing which units are susceptible, or how large the project needs to be to cause this problem. Needless to say, it didn't happen in the 10 or so units we tested it on here before release :(

We have an update for the firmware which is currently being tested. We will release this as soon as possible.

    Darren,

I have a B&W CTouch on the way back to you guys via Middys, happy to send you a copy of the project file, I wouldn't call it a large project.... Needless to say customer not too impressed.

    Regards

This problem has been fixed with C-Touch firmware V2.22. A new installer will be available soon.

In the meantime, new firmware for the C-Touch is attached. Just unzip the file into your c:\clipsal\piced\firmware folder.
