Can anyone tell me what causes the pro series loads to flicker? At first we thought that the transformers were the problem so we changed the transformers every thing was fine for nearly 2 weeks but then even those transformers started flickering.

We r using 4 channel 5amp dimmers the loads do not consume more than 2-3 amps. The flickering occurs after the loads are dimmed. They do not start flickering instantly but after a few hours of being kept at a particular dimmed level.

Both the previous transformers and the new transformers support leading edge and trailing edge dimmers.

Does it happen at a particular time of the day? or does it happen at random times?

Also, do you know the capacitance of the transformers you're using?

Have a look through the search function, there has been several threads about flickering lights before.

Hello dragshot - apart from the load, have a look at the ambient and running temps. We had a case where the lights would flicker when the dimmer was too hot (4 Channel PRO dimmer in a metal board within a cupboard and minimal ventilation).

    Regards,
