Printing out group tag database?

Hi Everybody,
Is there some way I can print out a projects tag database with the actual group names & numbers in hex, decimal or both?
I'm using v2.7.6 C-Bus software, it allows you to print out details of the units (with only six groups per unit, grr!), but not the group tags..
Bring on version 3, soon!!!!!

If u use excel this is what we use to make an excel spreadsheet of the tag database.
The macro assumes your cbus projects are set up like this
clipsal/cbus/projects/my project
also u need to turn the hex to dec stuff in excel
it will create a excel file called cbus-groups.
I have a directory for each project to keep documentation in that contains the excel spreadsheet ie smarthouse/my project - my macro will then use the name from this directory to look up the cbus tag database without u have to change the cell with the name in it..
can not attach excel here so will have to email to u

 

so there is an easier way of exporting the project-man. database to excel ?

 

Go into "File" in the CBus Application
Go into "Export documentation"
Export to say C:\CLIPSAL\whatever as "xxx.csv" (dont get much choice here)
Open file name "xxx.csv" from XL
if you cant see it from XL open from Win Explorer
Play with XL queries, filters etc ,to your hearts content
Still wont bring up those group desriptions > 6 anyone know why??

Cbus database

This is what i generate from the cbus database using excel macros, also make
a cross refernece of full site, touch sceens and switch list to give client.
