Amber electric is an electricity retailer that effectively sells power at wholesale + a fixed monthly charge. This exposes the customer (me) to wholesale pricing which moves all over the place and updates every 30 minutes. I already have this price and the forecast price loading into my SHAC (c separate threads). However, I have now installed a Tesla Powerwall and can store/discharge from the battery depending on what is going on (controlled via an app). However, I am keen to have my SHAC issue the instructions to the Powerwall depending on price/forecast/weather/usage/time of day etc - all of which can be determined in SHAC. The piece I am missing is the SHAC being able to simulate the Tesla phone app and issue a command to the Powerwall. This guy --- https://darwinsden.com/tesla-powerwall-manager-app-for-the-smartthings-hub/ appears to have done the hard work and has it working with smartthings. Unfortunately, it is beyond my skillset to incorporate this into something running in LUA on a SHAC. Looking at the script, you will see that it provides a local network solution (ie SHAC and PW on the same network) as well as a cloud solution (instructs via Tesla). It is the local solution I am looking to implement. Is anyone up to the challenge or can point me in the right direction?
    cheers

Just a suggestion Phil; I think you might want to look into Home Assistant.
C-Bus is awesome with some powerful tools but think almost every integrator would agree that if you want a full home smart system, you need something that has a few more pre-built bells and whistles.
Home assistant has integrations for both items that you want. Can't confirm that it will have all the capabilities that you are looking for but might be a good start.

Good suggestion thank you Damaxx and I am familiar with Home Assistant in a separate installation. However, I am keen, if possible, to avoid adding another device to my CBus/SHAC setup. Still interested in responses from others.
