I've added two 5500PS units to a network and they work without a problem. The only issue is that although they show up in toolkit as existing in the database, when the network is scanned they do not show up in the network even though they are connected, running and providing power (I know this because they are the only source of power on the network).

Any idea why they don't show in the 'Units on Network' section of toolkit even though they are functioning?

    Thanks,

    Andrew

Power supplies only supply power to the bus they do not appear as a device on the network when scanning.

The 5500PS power supplies can be included in your database programming so that Toolkit can correctly calculate the power and network burden of your total network.

As ______. points out, they are network power supplies only, and can therefore not be interrogated by Toolkit.
