    hi
can any one shed some light on this please ??
Im trying to send a http comand from c-bus to a hdmi matrix. I can make this happen using the posthttpdata command.
But this will only work when i have piced connected to my network. Ive noticed the the logic help file that these commands are listed as c-touch colour, is the wiser2 unit not able to send this command or am i missing something ???
    many thanks

Wiser can only do basic TCP requests, not HTTP. You can create your own HTTP requests using TCP (HTTP protocol sits on top of TCP), but that's a bit of work depending on how fussy the switch is. Are you sure the switch won't support TCP commands? Some do.

You live and learn. :) Shame nobody thought to update the help files. I'll have to give it ago on my Wiser 1 and see what happens.

Thanks guys , ive now got the posthttpdata command working with my wiser2 , as suggested in the thread above
a readpostdata command is required !!
However i now have a similar problem when using the GetHTTPdata command. Again everything works well when Im connected to my network through piced but my wiser2 unit won't issue anything on its own. Ive used wireshark and can see everything is ok when connect to the network through piced but nothing shows up when its disconnected. Any ideas ?? thank you
