All ports have opened fine except 8889 - the BT box just won't open it, I think if I remember it said no permission or something.

I can access the system remotely, but the Wiser 2 GUI just says "loading" on computer and via app the app just crashes.

From the instructions it says that the GUI won't work without ports 8888 and 8889 open.

Is there a way around this or has anyone come up against it before? It's one of only two issues remaining and I really need to get it resolved.

Is it now a case of my customer ringing BT to find out why the port won't open?

Its not an answer, but I did see that the new Amazon Echo has had a particular problem with the BT hub when it came to the UK, and had to make an urgent fix so that the Echo can work on that device.

Looks like there might be a problem with the BT hub
