I'm thinking about buying a Homesafe D16 but would like to know the capabilities of the cbus interface.

From what I have worked out so far I will be able to Arm the system via Cbus, trigger groups/scenes when a PIR/Reed switch gets triggered in either Arm or Disarm modes.

I think there is also a bunch of relay outputs that can be programmed via Cbus??

Can my existing PIR's be used to sense intruders? I already have a few scattered around the place and it seems kinda pointless having to install another bunch just for security.

What other tricks can be done with the Security/Cbus interface?

Hmmm so all I can do is Arm the panel or trigger GA's on various events.

Oh well. thanks for pointing me in the right direction.
