Currently knackered now as i cant go back to CbusV2 to setup the CTouch, also have noticed that Toolkit does not recognise the Ctouch as a Ctouch, only as a PC Interface, so have to connect to CTouch by COM1 Serial.

Also noticed in PICED that only AUstralia is available in location choice.

    Help please !!!

Currently have no lights in my nice new Garden Room :(

    Dean.

    Piced Not Working

Could the problems your experiencing be the reason why CIS have put in large red font on the PICED download site that it should not be used on job sites. From experience BETA software is best left on the test bench, not on the job site

Which is why i started my post with 'i know its BETA' and said 'MY garden room' - which is not a job site !!

My home is my test bench :D

Thanks for your advice anyway ;)

assume by locations you mean as used for sunset and sunrise times, lookup either of them in the help file and it gives you a site on web to get lat. and long. data then add to your database.

    Hi Dean,

Does this happen trying to transfer any project, or just a specific project. If you have more than one PC does the problem occur on that PC as well.

    Hi Dave

Yes that was what i meant - just that with Homegate you get a drop down which includes UK and Towns within UK etc.

Havent tried it on any other PC's. this is a fairly fresh Win2k machine.

I initially thought it might be the imported project i was trying, so tried a completly fresh project with nothing but a blank page, and this still caused same problem.

Cant get another PC to a location where it can connect to Cbus :(

The PICED installer is missing the city database (attached). Unzip this file into the PICED folder.

It is possible that this may fix both of your problems. If not, I will have another look.

    Hi Darren

Yes that looks like it may have fixed it.

Tried the prepare file and it didnt crash and was able to show be details.

Only did it from work to home via VNC so wasnt able to physically connect to the CTouch, but looks good.

Any thoughts on why the CTouch only shows up as a PCI which means i cant connect to it via network and only COM1

    Thanks

    Dean

Are you saying that your C-Touch has a unit type of PC_INT ?

Is this a new unit or an old one ?
