    Hi all

I have just installed PICED 4.4.2 on a vista machine. Toolkit starts and runs well as does C-Gate.
PICED however does not start correctly and comes up with Error - 14187
After reading the forum and through experimentation I still have this issue every time.

Should PICED run on Vista stably or is there still issues with the software and Connection to C-Gate.

    Hello Speakauto.

Have been running Toolkit, PICED, Schedule Plus, MARPA etc for about six months on Vista Home Premium with next to no problem.
The only issue I had was the CTC Transfer Wizard, but a quick search sorted this.

Just wish everything else worked as well on Vista...

    Regards,

    Mark

    All sorted

You need to uninstall everything on vista
and have the latest version of Java installed for it to take, install toolkit first and then piced.

    Hello desd.

    Sorry, couldn't follow your link...
What I ended up doing was right click on the CTC Transfer Utility and 'Run as Administrator'. After this there was no problem connecting to colour touch screens.

    Hope this helps,

    Mark
