    I have just loaded my home ctouch with firmware ver 200 and noticed the following when connected to cbus;
    1 major improvement in that while connected I can still use the touch set set scenes and loads etc.
    2 from the piced should i be able to toggle a load - nothing happens although the status changes.
    3 the load monitor doent seem to update all the time even with the autoupdate box ticked. seems to work if when opening the screen i tick update box then open the lighting application.
    4 got some new errors from cgate - like

    so it seems the hardware working ok just trouble with piced getting levels which means i can not update sceen level in piced - can in ctouch hardware

    If you are connected to C-Bus it should change the C-Bus loads. C-Bus gets disconected when you connect to C-Touch.

    I will have a look at this.

    These errors are not related to PICED as such. These are normal C-Gate messages. The fact that you are getting a few failures is of concern, and may point to marginal C-Bus communications.

    Think i got the problem now.
    When i connected to cbus piced and cgate said they were connected to cbus but they were not - the touch screen was still in normal mode.
    This would account for,
    why i could still change scenes etc on the touch
    cgate errors
    why levels never showed up in the load monitor.

    so the problem now is why.

    Cbus disconnection

    Have noticed that with piced that when you disconnect from the cbus the ctouch stays in the pc interface mode until the cable is remove.

    This was fixed in the last ctouch version 2.4.x but is back in piced

    This has never been "fixed" because it isn't a bug as such. This is just how the C-Touch works. Once you have put it in PCI mode, it stays that way until the cable is removed, or the power is cycled.
