passive infra-red timer

    I have a pir in a room to turn off lights after an timed period after last movement. the pir turns off the lights regardless of last movement. any ideas :cool:

    Briefly, I would suspect that the unit is not set up correctly. If it is turning the lights ON and OFF, that's half the battle.

    Is the timer interval you want set correctly in the same "block" as the group you want to control?

    Are the key press commands set to the defaults for a PIR sensor?

    If it is a PEIRL unit, the time interval can be "tweaked" with one of the pots on the unit, so if this option is enabled, abd the pot is in the wrong position, it will always look like you have a very short interval.
