Is it possible to buy the switch blanks for S2000 plates.

The ones that are DARK red and pass IR
The ones that are WHITE Cloudy (as used in the Light sensor 5031PE)

I have them (taken from other units) but they both have part number 30P on the back.

Any one know the part numbers.

Want to mount some custom electronics behind.

Can they be bought seperatley or as a special order

I am also looking for these.

The colours are I/R and Opal

The guy at my local L&H outlet looked at me like I was the man from the moon when I asked about them.

Does anybody have any idea on how to get them.

The very first C-Bus prototypes suitable for mounting in an Australian wallbox used filed-down 30Ps as the buttons. :)

These are available from Clipsal under the catalogue number "30P", but are not CIS products. You can get them in a range of colours, but you might need to make a special order to get the translucent ones.

As with most things Clipsal, the 30P is the catalogue number, but the colour is specified with letters after the number.. eg a 30P in "White Electric" is 30P,WE.

The code for opal appears to be "OP", but the colour for the I/R one is not so easily found. The best I can come up with is "TR", which is the colour code for the small rectangular IR window in the BOM for the old 2000 series 4 gang with IR (5043NIRL). no idea what it means... transparent red maybe? Then again it could be a typo and actually be "IR"...

Maybe try ordering a few of each and see what comes back? The 30P,WE is only ~50c each, so it's unlikely to break the bank :)

    HTH,

Thanks for the advice and information.

I'll see how I go ordering them now.
