    Hello.

Just wondering what others are using to power the serial ports on the PAC.
To date both the Clipsal one (4T24) and the Hager option burn out the PAC after three to four months of operation.

    Regards,

    Mark

We have had PACs run for years from the Clipsal power pack with no problems.

The PACs can be damaged by driving a serial port which is short-circuit. Is it possible that this is the problem?

It would be good if these damaged units could be returned (if they haven't already) for us to find out what is going on.

I have successfully used a 16v AC plugpack commonly found powering domestic grade security panels...
