    hi there.
I am new to this forum. With current technology available on the market I was hopping that Clipsal will open its standards wider than just using Wiser system.
I am looking for your help and advise about other systems that can control C-Bus directly. The options that I feel are RTI, Crestron.
Recently i came across the new Samsung 8610 module. It looks fantastic and much better than iPad app from C-Bus. i really do like to find the way to integrate it to C-Bus.
Having installed C-bus in my home and programmed it myself without a course, I can see a lot of potential.
I know it is an open end question, but I am happy to hear any opinion or suggestion to move forward.
    Thank you,
    George

    RTI has a 2 way driver for C-Bus http://mydevice.com.au/driversrti/13.html
Crestron has very poor driver, better is avalable from developers for money
AMX has certified driver for C-Bus

    there are more

I use and promote CQC by Charmed Quark. (www.charmedquark.com)

It has a 2 way driver that uses both C-Gate or a PCI.

Very stable and CQC has great support from the authors.

I thought CQC went out of business, or went open source, or something?

In addition to Wiser I am using an App on the iPad that can be configured to send serial commands to a control system via a global cache gateway. I connect the GC-100 to a PCI and thus can control my CBUS from the iPad. It works very well but only provides simple one-way control. The App also supports tcp commands and you can control CBUS without the gateway if you have a CNI, but I'm not CBUS-savvy enough to work out how to do this.

CQC is still around and is actively being updated. 4.2 was just released this month. An injection of cash kept it going and prevented it from going open source. Still the best out there considering anyone can write a driver for it.

It also has an iOS app and an Android app.
