Got a problem where 2 out of 5 DLT's are showing the Night Light on the "Page" key - as far as i can tell the config is correct.

See the attached pic - the Kitchen one is fine, but the Lounge unit is not.

    Any ideas ??

    Fixed

Strange. Only way I could fix is was to turn it off, save to the units, exit, and reload toolkit and reapply.

If I turned it off and applied, then turned it on and applied again, nothing happened !

Its a strange name "Nightlight" when it comes on even in the daytime.
Have noted that the page light only comes on when all the keys are off - you didnt have a key on on the ones that didnt work did you ??

The "override indicator state" option will force the nightlight to be applied, even if there is a key indicator that is still On.

    Ok

I think I'll apply that option anyway to make sure - I've been having some weirdness anyway programming this system.

The other day, one of the switches on the Cinema DLT refused to action, But another switch for the same light would change it's status to blue.

Total reset of the system was the only way to fix that.

    Um - no

Actually, no I wont apply that. Because that will mean it cancels out the status lights for the 4 buttons.

    What am I missing

OK, so is it possible to forcibly have the "Page/Night Light" on permamently, but do not affect the status of the 4 buttons ?

The override seems to cancel out the other 4, and if you dont have it on and one of the buttons is active, the nightlight doesnt work.

Until i enable the Comfort module that is mebe ? I'm hoping that I can tell a DLT to turn on that button when Comfort thinks it's dark...

Yes, just select the option to have the page key indicator "Always On".

That's precisely the point. It allows you the choice of having the nightlight always work or only work when all the other indicators/groups are Off.

The page key indicator is not controllable from a C-Bus Group Address (except as part of the overall unit indicator brightness) and as such you will not be able to have independent control over it from a Comfort panel.

Also remember that you need to have all groups/indicators Off before the nightlight on the page key indicator will work. What that means is if there's a group/indicator still in the On state on the second page then the night light indicator won't come on (unless you've got the override option set).

I suspect that this might be what's causing the behaviour you were seeing with your units.

    Behaviour

Not so sure about that - I didnt have the override option enabled,

Any my other issue where the button refused to action on another DLT was concerning.
