    Hey guys,
We have a C-Bus installation at home with around 10 dimmers and 3 sensors and we have Saturn wall switches around the house.
We had some work done that doesn't relate to C-Bus a few weeks ago by an electrician and now in some rooms, the Saturn wall switches have no power at all coming to them! I can put the lights on from the dimmers though but the Saturn wall switches doesn't seem to have any electric current at all.

Thanks for your help in advance.

    Regards,
    PaulF

Sounds like the cable to the switches has been broken, cut, damaged, busted...

It is also possible that one wiring run back to dist board has been damaged (taking out everything on that run) or even that an RJ jack was disconnected in the switchboard.

You probably need to get the guy back and say "go fix".

Hey Ashleigh and thanks for the prompt response :)
The scary part is that when i told him to come back and have a look, he turned yellow when he saw the setup and started mumbling and said he definitely didn't cause the issue as he didn't touch any cablings...

Will have a look myself to see if any Cbus cables have been unplugged/damaged but will most probably have to get someone else to look at it

    Thanks again

    Hello Paul
If you give your rough location someone may put their hand up.

    Issue Fixed !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D
As you mentioned Ashleigh, seems like one of the cables was cut at the supply unit :)

Thanks very much for putting me in the right direction.
@DarylMc, thanks for your comment and will get in touch again in case needs be :)

PS: Who ever put our system together has done a horrible job i say. The C-bus came with the house when we bought and the way the cabling was done is unbelievably messy so might need someone in the future to come in and tidy things up!

    Cheers

Glad to hear it's up and running.
    What happened to the cable?

Someone must have pulled it out of of the power supply so basically it was fully detached from it.

Also please, on one of the Saturn switches,
4 lights are blue and working fine and 2 are off but if i click on them, they turn red/orange. Any ideas what that means please ?

    Cheers

    Hello Paul
The colour of the indicators is programmed in CBus Toolkit so maybe there was a reason they chose different colours but they should be able to be changed to which you prefer it it's all working properly.
