New EDLT Launch event

I think this product should be classed as vapour-ware.

Until it arrives there is no other way to put it.

The lesson learned here is that until its on the market, you are taking a risk at using a new product as a selling point. I feel for you CC, you have been put in a difficult position.

 

I would have thought that Clipsal would have learnt from previous mistakes.

This is not the first time a product has been launched and taken a long time to appear.

The free locate wireless switches were in the printed catalogue more than two years before they existed. I hope this is not a repeat of that instance

 

Not just new products... I just received a Wiser ordered more than 6 months ago!

My dealer tells me its sometime in January we shall see!!! they may as well go to Feb and make it a full year from the press announcement haha

That really depends upon the US office having them available. I'll make them available to all regions through the Export office until the regions can buy through the main distribution warehouse. I'll check on Monday (your time) when we have a conference call with the US team and try to get a more definitive answer.

Can I request a programming update?

Unlike all other input units, when you try to type in the name of a Group Address it only takes the first letter. So if I type "BE" for Bed 1 or something, it goes to B then jumps to E.

It makes it annoying when assigning group addresses to buttons, and it different from all other units.

I got my eDLT's on friday also.

I have had a number of issues setting the new eDLT/new toolkit which I will make a seperate post for.

 

It's been over a year from launch and many months since I ordered.

Does anyone know when the eDLTs will be readily available?
