In the TPG at $349 trade... about $15 more than the DLT. Pretty good value given the significant improvement in feature set.

    Hey Conformist,

Is there any time frame when the new toolkit with EDLT in it?? Would be nice to check that out prior to the product getting released for sale..

    Cheers..

No time frame. It's expected to be available just prior mass release

Assuming availability in Oz at the end of July, are there a list of online stockists that will have stock at that point ? I can then arrange my Oz contacts to purchase for me to send back to the UK

    Thnx

We're working with the sales team in the UK to make it available as soon as possible. I'll push to have it at the same time as OZ. Please work with your UK supplier to press the UK operation to launch ASAP.

Sorry again for the delay.. The expectation for this product is massive and we're really keen to get things resolved so we can meet expectations.

    Hi Conformist,

Did I see right? Did the eDLT win a 2013 Australian International Design Award?

    all the best,

    Brad

I won't be buying from the UK. A friend of mine will be in Oz and he'll buy them for me as soon as. Hence who are the leading online Oz suppliers to supply to an Oz in Oz ?

There isn't really any on-line supplier in Aus, except cbussales.com, but his website says Clipsal prohibits him selling to customers "off the street" unless they add value to the sale.

The bit below is from their website:

Must admit with this condition of sale it makes me wonder why they have a website listing all the products and their prices!

The best bet is your friend goes to an electrical wholesaler and orders from them. Some will charge trade price some will change retail. Some reputable wholesalers are Lawrence and Hanson and MM Electrical (who trade under different names such as TLE, Haymans depending upon state).

    Still hopeful for July.

Appreciate your patience.. The feedback indicates, there are a lot of people eagerly awaiting this product. As soon as the stock is 'in the air', I'll confirm the dates. I should know 7-10 days out (as long as the plane doesn't crash and customs don't want some for themselves:).

    Cheers

Assuming July, are these going to be available to buy "in store" at the Sydney Clipsal Powerhouse on Waterloo Rd if I walk in, in person ?

Purely to replace some Saturn DLTs

    Thanks

Umm no.. You cant buy any product in person direct from Clipsal/Schneider.. You will need to go through either an electrical wholesaler or a Clipsal Partner to purchase these, and I would doubt that any of them will be 'stocking' them..

    Cheers...

Has anyone heard an updated date for the eDLT arrival? Autumn has turned to Winter, July to August and there is just over 3 weeks until September/Spring ?????

    Hey Glen

Very frustrating for us trying to solve a production problem. Hoping it is only weeks now. The response has been massive. As soon as they are in the warehouse, I'll post back.

    Sorry again for the delay

    Cheers

    Well its September tomorrow and??????

I did not think Clipsal was a couple of geeks in a shed at the bottom of the garden but to announce a product in Feb and take this long to launch you would assume they are!

Its not like they have a string of new offerings hitting the market each year, in fact what was the last major step forward? when you look at the competition like C4 who we also deal with they are knocking out new bits every quarter.

We think C-bus is great and our clients love it but why announce something and take so long to deliver?

Another thing why I'm on it I would love to see a keypad a Lutron style keypad where we can back engrave the buttons, a Saturn 2/4/6 button with a button pack where you loose the LED just doesn't cut it now with what's out there

Please let us all know when this product is coming.

I've herd that the wiser won't be available until Dec/Jan and that the current model has had production stopped and the only available units left are stop gaps for "VIPs"

I ordered mine in May as well, but canceled my order, I have since found that using logmein to connect to my PC running PICED/Toolkit gave me enough control for now... shame lost sale there.
