when establishing a backbone topology for a few Cbus networks , does it matter which side of the bridge is your backbone? A or B ? do the A and B side any different to each other or not

What about the power, do each network needs to have it's own power supplies to support its devices or the power can be shared between two Cbus networks over a bridge ?

You need to supply power to both sides of the bridge. It is optically isolated.
