I have a couple Neos and DLTs that I have setup to use a level of a GA (for indicator brightness). This GA is a SENLL light level Group Address.

The DLT works fine, that is during the day the indicators are off, and as it gets darker, the indicators comes on :) . The Neo(s) on the other had are not  . They stay at 100%.

If I have one of the Neo setup to use a fixed level (e.g 40%), it seems to do the trick.

What am I missing here.

Can you post a screenshot of the indicator setup for your Neo?

Hmm, that works just fine for me.....

We changed the indicator brightness scaling for DLT. We had some feedback on Neo's that they didn't dim down enough, so on a DLT you'll notice that if the indicator brightness group is at 50% a DLT will be dimmer than a Neo. The difference between 50% and 100% on a Neo can be hard to spot. Might this be what you observe?

To perform a small test, take a free button on any other C-Bus switch (or use the Diagnostic Software) and try turning the indicator brightness group Off and On manually. The indicators on your DLT's and Neo's should both go dim and bright. Can you check this?

Also, make sure you're using the latest Toolkit 1.1.9.

    DLT/NEO Indicator Brightness

    Hi Josh,

My guess is that you have the 'East Light Level' group being controlled by one of the blocks of the NEO that isn't dimming it's indicators.

If so, try it without the group on one of the blocks.

    Cheers,
    Mark.

Mark, I am not quite sure what you are referring to when you say blocks of the NEO that isn't dimming its indicators. The 'East Light Level' group is controlled by a light level sensor installed on the EAST side of the house.

You are right Newman. I could not spot the difference. Any chance that this might change in the future?

We're recently upgraded the firmware in Neo, Saturn and Reflection switches. The new version number is 1.6.00. These units have the same light level scaling applied as DLT.
