I notice that the Neo units have an IR reciever. I am running Toolkit 1.2 and am wondering if I want to get the Neo to recieve a command what other Clipsal software/hardware do I need.

Does CIRCA need to be installed. What other traps are there.

I current have the HEX codes for the 5034 and 5035 remotes which I can import into my Philips Pronto remote control so effectively I have the remote covered assuming these are the appropriate remotes.

Appreciate any assistance to enable me to get my head around the IR functionality.

    Regards,

    Hi,

I assume you have learnt the IR codes from a C-Bus remote, into your Phillips Pronto.

Once, that is done, the Pronto will spit out the IR the same as the C-Bus remote.

Once you have programmed the C-bus units correctly, your done.

Just point your Pronto at the Neo's and fire away.

You only need Circa, if your trying to Spit IR out of a NIRT plate.

    Hope that helps.

    Neo Ir

    Hi,
The NEO/Saturns accept IR commands from the 5034TX (4 button), 5038TX (8 button, recommended) or 5034TX12 (12 Button) remotes, so you'll have to find the correct set of codes. As long as you have IR selection (Bank A/B) enabled within the Global tab in Toolkit, IR commands will simulate a button press on the unit. That's it!

    No/None.

    Cheers,
    Mark

    Not that I know of.

Borrow the remote, thats your best bet. Learn the codes in.
