When I point my web browser to the wiser, after I enter User/Password, I get the background, logo, and "authenticating Socket" followed by "processing Node:filelist" and the spinning circle.

This is the case regardless of if I access the Wiser from the LAN side or WAN side.

Under the logo is "version 4.70"

I have rebooted the wiser and also power cycled my entire C-Bus system.

If I launch the C-Bus Toolkit, I get an error stating unable to launch C-Gate.

The Wiser iPad app (both HD and regular) launch and work fine.

Any thought or things to try?

    thanks in advance.

I would try emptying the browser cache. Normally, it is under Tools->Options->clear saved files or similar name. Which browser are you using? If that still doesn't work, I would retransfer the project to the unit in case it is an issue caused by a corrupted project.

    Clarity

First, Thanks for your reply, I greatly appreciate your suggestions.

To answer you question, I have the identical issue from a Mac/Safari on both the LAN and WAN side of the Wiser. I can also always replicate the issue using IE/Windows.

    In other words:
    http://192.168.32.230:8080/ will hang after user/pass
    http://192.168.32.230:8080/setupDHCP.htm works correctly

If I launch C-Bus, i get the error:
"A required component of Toolkit, C-Gate, failed to start."

    If I launch PICED
It just hangs on the slash window.
I also get a window showing
    "Connecting to local C-Gate"
PICED needs a C-Gate to operate
    which never succeeds in connecting.

How can I retransfer the project ?

Sounds like multiple different problems here. First problem to solve is why C-Gate is not starting on your PC. Might be worth contacting support. You'll need C-Gate to work so that you can use PICED to retransfer the project.

On the Wiser, if you're logging in through 8080, then you're on the WAN side. That's fine. The spinning circle after processing Node indicates either a corrupted project or browser cache corruption. If it is a corrupted project, then you have to retransfer the project using PICED to solve that.
